 投稿者:Snow  投稿日:2006年11月13日(月)19時28分13秒
  I bought "Tsukishima-monjya-man" in the CircleK-SunKus, maybe...
I went to "Huji-Yurin-kan" in Kyoto yesterday, because of form part of the class in calligraphy. I looked some famous valuables. So it was the valuable experience.
From afternoon, I enjoyed in Kyoto Station Building. I could see big and beautiful Christmas tree. And I was tasting many kind of Yatsuhashi. Taste of persimmon, roast sweet-potato, strawberry... There are the limited-edition Yatsuhashi. Everything are delicious!!

Yes, but...

I've eaten it before, but at home.  I mean it was a souvenir.
I found that it doesn't seem to be appropriate as one of dishes for dinner, but one of "Oyatsu".  I'd like to have it at Tshukisima, Tokyo, someday!
Put it aside, I didn't know existence of "Tsukishima-monja-man"...

I like "Tenshin" too. I ate two type of "Chuka-man" for five straight holidays. The one was "Anman" and the other is "Tsukishima-monjya-man"
It was first time to eat "Monjya" Have you ever eat "Monjya"??

Are you enjoying holidays?

How are you going?  Having fun?
You've got two holidays left, haven't you?  And the two are Saturday and Sunday.  Where are you going to go and do?

I like "Tenshin".  Among the varying kinds of them, I have to say I like simple "Nikuman" the most.  I'm dying to eat them...

As you said, I think also that Japanese apparently tend to lean on grammar too much. Of course, I understand the importance of it.
So, I've been thinking that would-be English speakers should speak more without thinking about grammar too much until when they reach the point where they aren't afraid of contacting with foreigner and can manage to produce conversation even if there're some tough things.
Let's study hard together!

I'm sorry...

I am working hard, but I enjoy the study I do with my friends.
The class, that I study Japanese with exchange students, is so fun for me. I am now revising my opinion of Japanese. I think Japanese worry too much about grammar when studying in English. But I think that grammar in Japanese is more difficult than Englush's one...
Most important point, to study English,is I have a rich vocabulary in English, I think... So I have to know many English words.

Me neither...

Sendai was really good!  Sea foods and vast land I havn't ever seen before impressed me a lot as I wrote in the diary.  I got tempted to go again when I have a chance to do.  But one thing I missed was "Gyu-tan".  When I visit there next, I'll absolutely get it!

You can say that again!  They speaks very fast, although it may not be so for them.  I very often can't follow them.
I've been listening to English which the native speak, which is recorded on a CD accompanied with "CNN English", a monthly magazine, when I have time.  But...

I think you had good time in Sendai.
I have never been to Sendai. So I want to go to there and eat sea food. And Sendai-gyu got a reputation through TV. So I want to eat it, too.
One English class is too hard for me.
Because the people in the DVD, we use in my English class, are not actors. They are ordinary people. So their speach are so quickly.
But I do not give up.I wii watch the DVD to study, practice and learn as much as I want.

Had fun a lot!

  Year! You're right!
I went to Sendai in order to perform Tamasudare at the site of National Panasonic Fair, which was the first time in my life to visit Tohoku area.
Since people in Sendai were very kind and seemed to like having fun, we were also given a lot of fun time.
I'm tempted to go to the city again in the future...
Above all, we enjoyed much awesome sea food.

Judging from what you wrote, you seemed to be working hard on studying English.  Keep on it!  Ganbarooooo!
